Incident at 10201 Harwin

March 20, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 10201 Harwin about 1 a.m. today (March 20).

The deceased victim was identified as Vang Tien Nguyen, 22, of 5620 Glenmont #P18.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. C. Bloyd and Officer D. L. Robertson reported:

Nguyen and an Asian male were having a fight in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 10201 Harwin. Nguyen was stabbed by the suspect who fled on foot. He was driven by a friend to 6800 Ranchester where they located a uniformed Houston police officer. HFD was called and they transported Nguyen to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
