Traffic Incident at 5400 Harrisburg

March 31, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 5400 block of Harrisburg about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday (March 30).

The victim, Thomas Jefferson Wilson Jr., 52, of 7622 Grahamcrest #2 was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Traffic Division Sergeant R. Gonzales and Officer J. Mushinski reported:

The victim was traveling westbound in the 5400 block of Harrisburg at a high rate of speed. His vehicle swerved and struck a curb and two light poles, then rolled over. Paramedics arrived at the scene and extracted Mr. Wilson out of the 1986 Toyota truck.
