Incident at 6855 Southwest Freeway

May 10, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6855 Southwest Freeway on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 around 1 a.m.

The identity of the victim is unknown at this time. He suffered gunshot wounds to the head and chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Kennedy and Officer T. Miller reported:

Witnesses state the victim and an unknown b/m suspect got into a physical altercation in front of the location. At some point, the fight moved to the side of the building and shots were heard. Witnesses went outside where they found the victim shot in the head and chest.

The only description witnesses were able to provide was that of a b/m.
