Incident at 6902 Bellfort

May 10, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 6902 block of Bellfort about 5:30 a.m. today (May 10).

The identity of the male victim and the cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Scott and Officer C. Scales reported:

An on-duty HPD officer patrolling the 6900 block of Bellfort observed what appeared to be a person leaning against a building at 6902 Bellfort. The officer stopped to investigate and found the victim had been shot multiple times. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the man dead.
