May 19, 2005 -- Houston police have learned the identity of a second deceased male in a shooting incident at 7440 Dillon about 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2005.

The deceased victim was identified as Horace Allen Paul, 57, of 7542 Almeda Genoa Rd. He suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect has been identified as John Wiley Lewis (w/m DOB: 6-21-57). He too suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary autopsy results, along with the initial investigation, indicate that separate weapons killed both males.

Witnesses said Paul was a business owner in the area and was taking a female employee home. The female employee arrived home where she found the suspect, Lewis, with whom she had been having an affair with, inside. It appears Lewis broke into her home and was armed with her husband's weapon. The female went outside and advised Paul that she had a problem. Paul, who held a concealed handgun license, went inside to confront Lewis and shots were fired.
