Incident at 3400 Dennis

May 31, 2005 -- A suspect has been arrested and charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 3400 Dennis about 2:55 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2005.

The suspect, Michael Ray Walker (b/m DOB: 4-26-79), has been charged with murder in the 174th State District Court.

The male victim's identity is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.D. Newcomb and Officer T. Huynh reported:

The unidentified victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
