Incident at 8600 South Course

November 27, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man on Saturday, November 26, 2005 about 9:40 p.m.

The identity of the deceased male victim is pending and autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Roberts and Officer A. Mares reported:

Residents of the apartment complex located on the 8600 block of South Course reported hearing several gunshots. Shortly after, the victim was found laying in a row of shrubs. He suffered several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
