Incident at 2900 Des Chaumes

October 11, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2900 Des Chaumes about 3:30 a.m. today (Oct. 11).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Scott and Officer C. Scales reported:

HPD officers responded to a man down call at 3098 Lelia after area residents reported hearing several gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim lying in the roadway. HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced the man dead.
