Incident at 7900 Cambridge

October 29, 2005 -- The cause of death of an infant at 7900 Cambridge about 4:20 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 28) will be determined by an autopsy conducted by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

The infant is identified as Rhiannon Harper-LaBlanc, 4 months old, of 10627 Moonlight.

H.P.D. Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Officer F. Mares reported:

Rhiannon Harper-LaBlanc was discovered to be unresponsive by a caretaker at a local daycare facility. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the infant to Texas Children's Hospital where she was pronounced dead. There were no obvious signs of trauma.

The investigation is continuing.
