Incident at 9500 Jutland

September 9, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9500 Jutland about 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 7).

The identity of the male victim, 28, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Sosa and D. Vasquez reported:

Witnesses had reported hearing gunshots around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. It wasn't until a witness walking in the area observed the victim's body in the culvert on the side of the roadway just after noon. HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead.
