September 12, 2005 -- A 26-year-old man is dead after an apparent robbery that occurred on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at around 3:55 a.m. at 3011 Ella Blvd.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant C.W. Howard and Officer I.F. Flores Jr. reported that the victim, Abraham Gonzalez of 3011 Ella Blvd. #25 and his brother, Erasto Gonzalez were in the apartment complex parking lot when they were approached by robbery suspects who demanded money. Erasto was struck on the side of the head with a shotgun before Abraham was shot in the head. Witnesses told investigators that the suspects, only described as unknown Hispanic males, took money from both victims and fled the scene in a green 4-door car.
