Incident at 9898 Club Creek #1403

April 20, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9898 Club Creek #1403 about 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday (April 19).

The victim has been identified as Shannon Demon Stack, 33, address unknown. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. H. Binford and Officer R. A. Swainson reported:

The victim was visiting an ex-girlfriend at her residence. She stated she went to the back area of the residence to attend to her children when she heard the front door open and a loud gunshot. She ran to the living room area where she found Stack on the floor with a gunshot wound. She stated she did not see who shot him.
