Incident at 503 El Dorado Boulevard #2001

August 6, 2006 -- Houston Police homicide detectives are investigating the death of a male at 503 El Dorado Blvd., # 2001, on August 4, 2006.

Homicide investigators Sergeant W. Booth and Sergeant C. Elliott reported:

On August 4, 2006, at approximately 11:27 a.m., patrol officers were called to the Lakeshire Place apartments regarding a dead body. Responding officers arrived at apartment # 2001 where they found signs of a struggle and the victim deceased in a bedroom.

Witnesses report that two suspects, described only as a white male and a black male, beat the victim and eventually left the location in a white Saturn vehicle belonging to the victim. This vehicle was bearing Texas license plate # Z09-ZMR.

The identification and cause of death of the victim will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.
