Incident at 3608 Chenevert

August 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 3608 Chenevert about 11:30 a.m. on Monday (August 7).

The deceased victim, a white male, had undetermined injuries. His name and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.J. Anthony and Officer W.D. Arnold reported:

Officers arrived at the above location after a citizen reported finding the victim's body in the backyard of a vacant residence. The victim appeared to have been beaten and possibly robbed.
