Incident at 9986 Bissonnet

August 28, 2006 -- Houston police are searching for the person who shot and killed a 26-year-old man at 9986 Bissonnet on Monday, August 28, 2006 at about 12:08 a.m.

According to Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officer T. Andrade, the victim, James Hubbard of 9290 Woodfair, was purchasing cigarillos at the cashiers window of a food mart. The driver of a newer model silver colored four door sedan pulled into the parking lot, produced a handgun and fired several times striking Hubbard multiple times. Hubbard, who died at the scene, is an evacuee from Louisiana,

The suspect is described as a black male in his early thirties, weighing between 200 to 240 pounds. He is 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, clean-shaven with a short fade haircut and has a dark complexion.
