Incident at 2106 Bleker

December 4, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2106 Bleker about 7 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 3).

The victim, Rickey Irving Norman, 48, of 11111 Hunkler, sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N.T. Ruland and Officer M.A. Khan reported:

Rickey Norman was inside of the residence at 2106 Bleker when two unknown men drove up in a 1990s model champagne colored Chevy Suburban and entered the residence. Neighbors reported hearing arguing coming from inside the residence followed by three or four gunshots. Witnesses then observed the two males exit the residence wearing ski masks and carrying an assault rifle. They fled in the Chevy Suburban. Investigators found drugs and money inside of the residence.

The suspects are only described as two black males.
