Incident at 4700 Kelley

February 16, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a female found at 4700 Kelley about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2006.

The identity of the female is pending identification and notification to family members.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. T. Wyers and Officer T. S. Tyler reported:

Officers responded to a vacant lot at Wipprecht and Kelley Street after a witness discovered the body of the female. Investigators observed trauma to the female, however the cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. Investigators interviewed several witnesses, but have no suspect description at this time.
