Traffic Incident at Gulf Freeway at West Dallas

January 16, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal accident at the Gulf Freeway service road at West Dallas on January 15, 2006 about 11:15 p.m.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant G. T. Hall and Officer S. Martinez reported:

A vehicle, which was traveling northbound on the service road, failed to stop at the red light at the intersection at West Dallas. It continued six feet beyond the curb and then came to a sudden halt against a concrete pillar. The occupant died upon arrival at the hospital.
