Traffic Incident at 6200 Airline

July 8, 2006 -- The Houston Police Department, Mobility Incident Management Division, is investigating an auto-pedestrian incident resulting in the death of an adult male pedestrian that occurred at 6200 Airline at 1:08 a.m. on July 9, 2006.

Accident investigation Officer J. Nickell report:

On July 9, 2006, at 1:08 a.m., a vehicle traveling southbound in the 6200 block of Airline Drive struck and killed a pedestrian who was crossing the street. This pedestrian, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of family members, died at the scene. Although no charges have been filed relating to this incident, the investigation is still ongoing.
