Incident at 1700 Holcombe

July 13, 2006 -- A person riding a bicycle in the 1700 block of Holcombe discovered the body of a woman floating in the bayou on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at about 11:30 a.m.

Houston Police Department Homicide Investigator C.L. Scales reported that the unknown black female was spotted floating face down in the water. Her identity and cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.
