Incident at 9424 Fannin

May 2, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9424 Fannin about 2 p.m. on Monday (May 1).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Kennedy and Officer M. Cruz Jr. reported:

A worker found the victim's body lying in the weeds behind a warehouse. He was dressed in a white T-shirt, blue jean Gucci style pants and a pair of black tennis shoes. There was no identification on his body, which appears to have been dumped at the location.
