Incident at 7230 Carew #47

May 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7230 Carew #47 about 9:25 p.m. on Sunday (May 7).

The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. D. Newcomb and R. Olivo reported:

The victim was inside an apartment when four to six suspects, described only as black males, kicked in the front door. At least two of the suspects were armed with weapons and shot the victim, who died at the scene. One of the suspects is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds and wearing a black muscle shirt and black shorts. The suspects were seen leaving in a four-door black vehicle, possibly a 2000-2003 model.
