Incident at 77 East Edgebrook

May 10, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men and the wounding of another at 77 East Edgebrook about 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday (May 9).

The identities of the deceased victims are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. Those victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Officers A.J. Palos, G. Gonzales and C.T. Hufstedler reported:

HPD patrol officers responding to a shooting call at 77 East Edgebrook discovered a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking lot of an apartment complex which contained the bodies of two men. A third man was found several feet away, suffering from gunshot wounds. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the two men in the vehicle dead. Investigators believe the shooting may have been drug-related.

The suspects are described only as three black males in their late teens or early 20s, driving in a black four-door Toyota or Nissan vehicle.
