Incident at 3302 Hutchins

November 16, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3302 Hutchins about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 15).

The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members. He suffered a gunshot wound and died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Huynh and Officer K. Carr reported:

The victim was found inside his home by friends who forced their way into his residence on Wednesday evening after being unable to contact him for several
days. He was last seen early Monday morning at a nightclub. Upon arrival, they were unable to get a response at the door and noticed a foul odor coming from inside the residence. Apparently, several articles were stolen from the residence.
