Traffic Incident at 10200 Scott

October 8, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 10200 Scott about 12:10 a.m. today (Oct. 8).

The victim has been identified as Reginald Ward, 37.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant S.R. Sorge and Officers J. Vega and D. Mireles reported:

Reginald Ward was driving a white Nissan Triple A wrecker southbound in the 10200 block of Scott when he loss control of the vehicle and crashed into several trees on the median of the roadway. HPD ambulance #35, northbound on Scott, witnessed the accident and provided medical assistance. Mr. Ward was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he died. There were no other injuries or vehicles involved in the accident.
