Incident at 3510 Chenevert

October 25, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man at 3510 Chenevert about 5:20 a.m. today (Oct. 25).

The identity of the male victim, 57, is pending notification to family members. His cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Officer R. P. Martinez reported:

Witnesses discovered the victim's body lying in their front yard and called police. HFD paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead. The victim sustained a head injury, which may have resulted from a fall. Investigators have learned that the victim had numerous medical problems, which may have contributed to his death.
