Incident at 2400 McCue #436

September 22, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a child at 2400 McCue #436 on Thursday September 21, 2006 at 9:40 p.m.

The deceased child suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.W. McStravick and Officer B.D. Evans reported:

The child was attempting to adjust the television set, which was sitting on a moveable stand, when it fell on top of her head. The parents, who were in the apartment at that time, rushed the child to an urgent care center and was later transported to the hospital where she died.
