Incident at 9616 Long Point

April 22, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at 9616 Long Point about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday (Apr. 21).

The identity of the victim, believed to be 25 to 30 years old, is being withheld pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. He suffered a stab wound to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.H. Roberts and Officer L.K. Lovelace reported:

The victim got into an argument with an unknown Hispanic male on the front porch of the victim’s apartment. When the argument escalated to a physical confrontation, a second Hispanic male stabbed the victim one time in the back. The suspects then fled on foot.

That second male suspect is described as being 30 to 35 years old, dark complected, medium height, slim build, and long curly black hair down to his shoulders.
