Incident at 8264 West Bellfort

April 29, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8264 West Bellfort about 2:20 a.m. today (Apr. 29).

The victim is identified as Andrew Richie McNeil, 36, of 8201 West Bellfort #1227. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants O. Belmarez and K. Rivera reported:

Mr. McNeil was among a large group of people standing in the parking lot at 8264 West Bellfort when an unknown suspect(s) shot him multiple times.

No witnesses have come forward at this time to provide a description on the suspect(s).
