Traffic Incident at 6300 Richmond Avenue

January 17, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run traffic accident in the 6300 block of Richmond Avenue about 2:40 a.m. today (January 17).

The male victim, 34, died at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant D.S. Runyan and Officer M.E. Wick reported:

A witness reported seeing the victim arguing with persons inside a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck in a parking lot in the 6300 block of Richmond Avenue. The driver of the truck then struck the victim with the truck and left the location.

This incident is being investigated as a traffic accident at this time.
