Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7000 Martin Luther King Boulevard



October 6 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7000 Martin Luther King Boulevard that occurred about 8:40 p.m. on Monday (October 5).  

The victim, 55, a pedestrian, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roque and Senior Police Officer S. Martinez reported:  

A citizen called police to report a man lying in the middle of the street at the above address.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.  

Further investigation determined the victim had been struck by a vehicle of unknown make or model.  At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
