Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9902 Gulf Freeway
October 16, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9902 Gulf Freeway about 10 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 15).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Harris and Senior Police Officer M. Waters reported:
Patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the Travelodge Houston Southeast hotel at the above address and found the victim inside a room. The male had several gun shot wounds. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing a silver or white four-door sedan leaving the location shortly after the shooting.
