Surveillance Video of Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 2211 North Freeway



October 19, 2015 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 2211 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 4 a.m. on June 15.

Surveillance videos of the vehicle used in the shooting, as well as a separate surveillance video taken almost two hours before of a possible suspect running down the street, can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at:

The victim, Jacob Bowman, 20, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers T. Miller and M. Miller reported:

Mr. Bowman, was changing a flat tire at the Exxon service station at the above address when unknown suspects, driving a small white four-door sedan, pulled up.  The front passenger then fired several shots at Bowman, killing him.

Further investigation determined Bowman's parents' vehicle was shot at while parked in the 700 block of Coolwood Drive about 2:15 a.m. that same day (June 15).  Surveillance video shows a male running down the street shortly after the shooting.
