Surveillance Video, Photos of Suspects Wanted in Robbery at 6607 Ashcroft

March 02, 2016 - Houston police have released surveillance video of two suspects wanted in a robbery of a check cashing business at 6607 Ashcroft about 8 a.m. on Monday (February 29).

The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males.  Surveillance video of the suspects can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/fXnJd14WG3U.  Surveillance photos of the suspects are attached to this news release.
An employee of the "Envios Y Mas" check cashing store arrived at the above address and was opening the business for work when she saw a Hispanic male outside the store, whom she recognized as a regular customer.  The male told her he needed to send money and followed the employee inside.  The suspect then pulled out a gun and forced the employee into a back area where she was forced to open drawers while he took money.

A second employee entered the store, witnessed the robbery and attempted to leave.  A second suspect came up behind the employee and then forced her back inside the business at gunpoint.  Both employees were taken to the back of the business and bound.  The suspects fled the scene with cash from the business.
