UPDATE: Composite Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 5330 Beverly Hill



March 11, 2016 - Houston police homicide investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 5330 Beverly Hill about 7:25 p.m. on November 12, 2015.

The suspect is described only as a black male in his early 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build.  A composite sketch of the suspect, who was wearing a hoodie, is attached to this news release.  

The victim, George Thomas, 29, of the above address, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Olive and Officer S. Sylvester reported:

Mr. Thomas was involved in a narcotics transaction inside his apartment when he was shot by an unknown black male suspect.  The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  

A witness stated Thomas welcomed the suspect into the apartment.  When the witness went into another room, he heard a gunshot and discovered Thomas in the living room.  Paramedics transported Thomas to the hospital where he died.
