Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4800 Scenic Drive
March 25, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4800 Scenic Drive about 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday (March 23).
The victim, Antoine Whalon, 18, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:
Mr. Whalon and two other friends were inside a vehicle traveling on Airport Boulevard when a vehicle of unknown make and model, also traveling the same direction, approached. Several shots were fired from inside the suspect vehicle and Whalon, a front seat passenger, was fatally struck. The two other individuals in the vehicle were not injured.
