Update:  Female Identified in Skeletal Remains Found at 610 Allston


January 24, 2017 - Houston police have learned the identity of a female whose skeletal remains were found at 610 Allston about 3:15 p.m. on March 4, 2017.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has identified the woman as Mary Stewart Cerruti, 62, of the above address.

HPD Homicide Division Officer T. Fay reported:

HPD patrol officers were called to the above address after skeletal remains were discovered in a crawlspace.  After observing what appeared to be human remains, HPD homicide investigators were called to the scene.  An interior wall was torn open to access the remains and transport them to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences for analysis.

On Tuesday (January 23), the remains were positively identified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  During the course of the investigation there were no indications of foul play.
