Incident at 11555 Bissonnet #1504

December 25, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11555 Bissonnet #1504 today (December 25), about 12:15 a.m.

The victim is identified as Richard Lee, 28, of 11555 Bissonnet #1504. He suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.W. McStravick and Officer B.D. Evans reported:

Lee had an altercation with the suspect earlier in the night. The suspect returned to the location and shot Lee in the abdomen with a shotgun.

Investigation into Fatal Shooting on 1300 Andrews Street

May 4, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 1300 Andrews Street about 7:20 p.m. last Friday (May 1).

The victim, Lewis Anthony Mathis, 41, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Collier and J. Stroble reported:

Mr. Mathis was seen standing alone on the sidewalk at the intersection of Andrews and Wilson streets just prior to the shooting. A short time later, an unknown vehicle drove by the location and shots were fired from the vehicle by an unknown suspect. Mathis was struck multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.

At time there is no known suspect(s).
