Incident at 7503 North Main

January 19, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7503 North Main St. about 7 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 18).

The victim has been identified as Jeffery Clyde Bogan, 38, of 7939 Clairborne. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Officer B.W. Nabors reported:

According to witnesses, Mr. Bogan was visiting the owner of a local car wash when two armed men wearing ski masks walked into the business and shot the victim several times. No money or property was taken from the business and the suspects did not make any demands or statements prior to the shooting. The two unidentified suspects fled the scene on foot.

Investigation into Shooting at 5919 Vickjohn Drive

January 4, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5919 Vickjohn Drive about 6:55 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 3).

The male, Geohn Cho, 48, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer S. Cole reported:

Officers were dispatched to an arson call at a residence at the above address and learned that Mr. Cho had thrown several Molotov cocktails at the home of his former roommate.  At some point, the male roommate discharged his weapon toward Cho as he (Cho) was trying to flee the location in his vehicle.

Cho sustained one gunshot wound to his leg and drove himself to a hospital.  Houston Fire Department Arson investigators went to the scene to conduct the arson-related investigation.

The investigation is continuing with no charges filed at this time.
