Incident at 9870 Westpark

March 30, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9870 Westpark about 2 a.m. today (March 30).

The victim, Quentin Green, 28, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Evans and E. Carstens reported:

Mr. Green was sitting in his vehicle outside of Club Hottyz and was approached by an unknown suspect who shot Green multiple times. Green stumbled into the club and collapsed inside the doorway.

Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4910 Ridge Harbor Drive

November 04, 2021 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of a man at 4910 Ridge Harbor Drive about 10:40 a.m. on Saturday (October 30).  

The suspect, Carmen Danielle Johnson (b/f, 29), is charged with murder and aggravated assault by the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office.  She is accused in the death of her mother, Nikitia Broussard Johnson, 57, and  the wounding of her father, Roderick Glenn Johnson, 58.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson and C. Vaughn reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the residence at the above address and found Mr. and Ms. Johnson with multiple gunshot wounds.  Ms. Nikitia Johnson was pronounced deceased.  Mr. Johnson was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to an area hospital in stable condition.  

After the shooting, Carmen Johnson drove to the Pearland Police Department and turned herself in to police.  Pearland officers contacted HPD homicide detectives and Johnson was transported to the HPD Homicide Division to be interviewed.  The Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office was contacted and Johnson was subsequently charged.  She was then booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.  

At this time, the department does not believe there is a continuous threat to the public.
