Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5701 Selinsky


March 2, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 5701 Selinsky at about 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 28).

The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lovelace and B. Nabors reported:

The victim was walking with several witnesses on the sidewalk at the above address - toward his apartment complex - when a black sedan with three unknown suspects drove up next to them and began shooting from inside the vehicle.  The victim was struck and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

At this time, there is no known suspect description nor motive.
