Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 17314 Tomball Parkway

October 2, 2018 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 17314 Tomball Parkway about 8:30 p.m. on Monday (October 1).

The suspect, Emily Rose Orbe (w/f, 32), is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court.  A photo of Orbe is not available at this time, pending further investigation.

The victim, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Sharp and C. Sharp reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at the above address.  Upon arrival, witnesses stated the suspect, Emily Orbe, was chasing the victim through the mall marking lot when her SUV and his motorcycle collided.  According to witnesses, Orbe then admitted to shooting the victim.

Orbe was subsequently arrested and charged in this case.
