HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer C. Sartor reported:

An officer observed a stolen silver Chevrolet Malibu traveling on Stella Link Road and 610 South Loop.  When the officer attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver sped away from the officer.  Two male passengers, 16 years of age, exited the vehicle at 10000 Bassoon Drive and fled on foot.  They were later located and arrested.

The suspect driver continued to evade officers and threw a gun out of the vehicle on Willowbend Boulevard and Main Street.  The gun was recovered.
