Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12500 Sandpiper Drive
January 21, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12500 Sandpiper Drive about 12:30 pm. on Saturday (January 18).
The victim, Ducovin Taray Jackson, 17, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detective M. Perez reported:
Investigators learned Mr. Jackson stepped out of his apartment at the above address. A family member then heard a gunshot, looked outside and saw Jackson lying unresponsive on the sidewalk. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Jackson deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
