Surveillance Video Released in Fatal Shooting at 800 Jefferson Street
May 5, 2020 - Houston police are asking for the the public's assistance in identifying suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 800 Jefferson Street about 11:20 p.m. on Monday (May 4).
The identity of the victim, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and were advised the victim had been transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigating officers were able to find surveillance video that detailed the shooting. The video shows a group of males and females walking down the street and arguing with multiples males who were sitting in a vehicle waiting at the intersection. The males in the vehicle got out and a physical altercation ensued between both groups of people. After the altercation was over, the males got back in their vehicle and the victim's group began walking down the sidewalk. The vehicle then pulled up to the sidewalk and the victim was seen falling to the ground as the vehicle fled the scene.
