February 8, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7911 Wilcrest Drive about 8 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 6).

The identity of the victim, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Arrington and L. Osborn reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a gas station parking lot at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.

Witnesses and evidence at the scene indicated the victim was speaking with a small group of people when one of the individuals pulled a gun and fired multiple shots at the victim.  The suspect and members of the group then fled the scene on foot.
