Investigation into Shooting at 5500 West 34th Street

March 29, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5500 West 34th Street about 12:10 a.m. on Sunday (March 28).  

The victim, Keddron Bailey, 26, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers G. Black and A. Hernandez reported:  

Mr. Bailey was in his vehicle near the above address talking to a couple of females when an unknown male approached him.  The male shot Bailey once in the chest and then fled the scene in a vehicle described only as a black Kia.  Bailey then drove to a nearby apartment complex, where a security guard called paramedics.  Bailey was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to to the hospital.  

The suspect is described only as a black male.
