September 6, 2022 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of two suspects and a vehicle sought in the fatal shooting of a man at 12427 Sunset Ridge Lane about 8 a.m. on July 12.

The suspects are believed to be two slim-built males wearing face coverings. They were seen exiting the passenger seats of a vehicle believed to be a gray 2012-2014 model Nissan Maxima with dark tint all around and a loud exhaust. Surveillance photos of the suspects and suspect vehicle are attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Dashawn Celestine, 47.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and J. Wallschlaeger reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call outside a residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on the ground. He had suffered multiple gunshots wounds. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Further investigation identified the vehicle pictured below as the suspect vehicle.
