Investigation into Male and Female Found Deceased at 4528 Griggs


March 16, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the deaths of a male and a female found after a fire was extinguished at 4528 Griggs about 1:10 a.m. today (March 16).  

The identities and cause of deaths of the male and female are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Fontenot and Senior Police Officer M. Coleman reported:  

Houston Fire Department emergency personnel responded to the above address for reports of a fire.  When firefighters entered the location, the victims were found deceased near the entrance. One other male was found and transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.  

At this time, the investigation is continuing.
