Investigation into Shooting at 3341 Winbern
Houston police are investigating the death of a male found at 6161 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) at about 1 a.m. on Saturday (April 21).The victim's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Officer K. James reported:
Officers responded to a report of a body floating in the bayou at the above address. Several juveniles had been walking along the bayou, saw the victim and contacted police. The victim appeared to have stab wounds to his back. There were no other signs of trauma.
